About this disability events

Join accessABILITY, an Indianapolis based non-profit welcoming individuals around the country, as we host the Parenting Disability Peer Support Group, a peer-led, peer-supported safe space for learning and growing together in our journeys of parenting children with disabilities.

Parenting a child with a disability is a unique experience. While there are so many resources out there, it can often be isolating being the ‘only one’ in a group of your peers. Each month we will come together to ask questions, support each other, cover specific topics and bring in guest speakers. We will learn, grow, and support each other on this parenting journey!

This handicap events is for parents who identify as parenting a child with any disability. In order to keep this support group a safe space, we kindly ask those who do not identify as a parent with a child with a disability to not join.
